This grape liqueur, by Tatenokawa, is made from a blend of Campbell and Berry grape varieties, grown in Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture. Tendo City is extremely famous for its delicious, fat and juicy grapes.
Kodakara Red Grape is best served chilled and neat, on the rocks, or with soda. It is suitable as an aperitif, dessert wine or enjoyed at the end of a meal.
The addition of shochu has the bonus of elongating the life and so it will last for a few weeks once open, if kept in the fridge.
