Of the three sakes created for The Silence range, Clean Reverb was the most restrained whilst still retaining the characteristic density on the palette and oily texture that defined The Silence. The line up was created in 2018, and renewed in 2019, as a way for Gozenshu to test the market and discover the best way to start their new, Omachi rice only strategy. In 2020 The Silence evolved into Gozenshu 1859 (product: Gozenshu 1859 Prototype here) meaning that these few cases left of Clean Reverb are all that remain of The Silence range.
Dry and rich with excellently balanced acidity Clean Reverb is designed to be a session-sake: eminently quaffable with emphasis on the flavour of the 100% Okayama-grown Omachi rice. Versatile, with a dense and medium-rich body and an oily texture; slightly dry leading to a neat & exact finish. Particularly well matched with sushi, grilled meats and medium cheeses.
