Snowy Peak has a luscious and complex aroma of creamy pear, vanilla, banana and white lily. The body is rich and Snowy Peak has an elegant and silky delivery and a lusciously long finish. The medium-sweet fruity flavours are vivid and rich – pear, banana and a hint of plum – with gentle umami.
This is a great food sake with a brilliant balance between aroma and flavour. The aroma is full whilst the flavours are rich but not too strong as to overpower. Recommended pairings would be rich sashimi/sushi, seafood gratin, mature cheeses, sweet sauces, steak, grilled foods (robata) and sticky, heavy pork dishes.
